Over the past few months, there’s been a buzz around Omaha about new initiatives and organizations forming to accelerate the growth of our start up community. Midlands Venture Forum, who we’ve partnered with to publicize and rebroadcast its events, is holding a panel next Thursday to address that buzz.
The event, MVF’s periodic “Networking Dinner,” is titled, Initiatives to Spur High Growth Businesses in Nebraska. I’m familiar with each of the four panelists and I have a feeling this will enthuse, excite and surprise you. There are some very cool things going on in our city. The cost of the event is $30 for members and $45 for non-members (cocktails and dinner included), and since we see the value in it, MVF has given us two tickets to give away to our readers.
Here’s more information on the event from MVF’s website: (We’re looking forward to being a part of the panel, too.)
There are many new exciting initiatives focused on spurring the creation and growth of seed and start up businesses in the local area. From new funding mechanisms for prototype development to physical infrastructure for new ventures, come hear about new initiatives to increase high growth business formation in Nebraska. In addition to covering these recent additions to the local ecosystem, our panel will share their views on the entrepreneurial outlook for the area.
