A few weeks ago I sat down with Dave Mark, president of local Artificial Intelligence consulting firm, Intrinsic Algorithm.
Dave’s done A.I. consulting for several major players in the industry, culminating in his giving a speech on the future of A.I. at this year’s Game Developers Conference.
During my chat with Dave, we discussed everything from the current state of video game A.I. and how the industry is handling the world’s rapidly improving technology to the people who actually hammer out the code that makes the artificial seem intelligent.
Most importantly, however, we talked about how we can bring those tech-heavy (and high-paying) jobs from the coasts to Nebraska, maybe even axing the “nothin’ but corn and cows” stigma that’s plagued the state for far too long in the process.
