A couple weeks ago, lifetime entrepreneur Steve Glenn spilled the beans on the 46 businesses he’s started and the lessons he’s learned along the way.
The founder and CEO of Executive Travel, one of the Midwest’s most successful and fastest growing travel management companies, spoke at Old Chicago in Lincoln to a crowd of 50 entrepreneurs about the mistakes entrepreneurs make when starting a business. The event, put on by the Lincoln Young Professionals Group (Lincoln YPG), was exciting with everyone leaving and talking about the points that were mentioned.

The talk was labeled as the 10 Mistakes Entrepreneurs Make, but Steve went on to say he increased it to 17 before he finally stopped the list that day. The hunt, he said, is why he’s started so many businesses, rather than for the money.
The first mistake on his list: entrepreneurs often forget that “cash is king.” Check out the video to hear why and how he’s learned to deal with it.
