It’s with great excitement that I officially announce the unveiling of the Big Omaha 2010 website!

After what proved to be an amazingly inspiring event last year, and realizing that we wanted to put together a follow up event, we’ve been busy working with speakers and sponsors to put things together for May 13-15.

Today, we’re releasing the teaser site, and around March 1 we’ll have additional speakers and ticket details!

A huge thank you to the team at Oxide Design Co. for the event identity and website design. We are thrilled to have them on board for year two of this amazing event!

Each of the four speakers we’re announcing today have an unbelievable story and passion for what they do. They fully embody what we envision the Big Omaha event to be, as well as the motivation we hope it gives the attendees and community.

Similar to 2009, this year’s Big Omaha kicks off Thursday evening with an opening event, and on Friday we’ll hear from internationally-recognized speakers and have the opportunity to connect with them and the community. But this year the learning doesn’t end on Friday, we’ll be extending the programming into Saturday! We’ll lay out those and other details shortly!

For now, take a look at a few clips from this first round of speakers.

And returning in May is Micah Baldwin. A crowd favorite for his approach to topics related to failure and business as well as his genuine nature of connecting and answering questions from attendees into the wee hours of the morning. Micah is currently the CEO and chief community caretaker of Graphic.ly. Graphic.ly provides an immersive social experience and marketplace around digital comics and associated merchandise. Here’s Micah at Big Omaha 2009:

We look forward to having this entire slate (and more) in town in a few short months!

Until then, start making plans for this year’s event! You can keep up with the developments by following @BigOmaha on Twitter or visiting BigOmaha.com!
