Veteran internet entrepreneur and enthusiast Jeff Pulver will be making a stop in Omaha next Tuesday, August 24 as part of his #140conf Road Trip. From August 22 to 28, he’ll be visiting 16 Midwest cities to speak with folks about “The State of Now”, the focus of his 140 Character Conferences, which have been held around the globe. His next conference is planned for October 20 in Detroit, the final city of his road trip.
Here are details for next Tuesday:

Here’s more about the tweetup, from Pulver’s email to local organizers:
Come join us in each of these communities and have your voice and your stories heard in “The State of Now”.
[We’re] looking to meet with interesting characters who may be having an impact in a unique way in their local physical community or using the power of the Social Web to establish a national or global presence from a small town in the Midwest.
And here’s a great video of Pulver talking about his 140 Character Conferences and “The State of Now”.
