Reporting to the Experience Design Director. A designer is responsible for understanding a client’s business and communication goals, and translating them into unique creative solutions. The Designer takes an active, hands-on role working with other team members, clients, and working with producers and technologists to implement designs into technology frameworks.
Greater Omaha Chamber – Intern, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Omaha)
The mission of the Greater Omaha Chamber is to increase business, investment and employment in the Greater Omaha area.
The Greater Omaha Chamber has an opening for an intern who is currently pursuing a post secondary degree in a technical field including bioscience, engineering, or IT. Will work 10-15 hours per week starting in January 2011, and move to 30-35 hours per week during the summer 2011.
Incumbent will:
- Assist with coordination of department and division events including site booking, volunteer coordination, promotion and day of event assistance.
- Manage and maintain timely data (i.e., events calendar, press releases, etc.) on various websites of interest.
- Update and distribute Entrepreneurship and Innovation information to external community partners.
- Represent the Chamber’s Economic Development Department at various community functions including staffing of organization booth and at trade and community fairs.
- Play a strategic role in building the human capital base for entrepreneurial organizations in the Greater Omaha region.
AIM Institute – SEO Part-time or Consultant (Omaha)
The AIM Institute is a not-for-profit membership organization that provides information technology leadership to Nebraska and the surrounding region.
