A 5 p.m. today, University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) and its College of Business Administration will hold a dedication ceremony for the new Mammel Hall. The ceremony, which is free and open to the public, will include a welcome address, ribbon cutting, speakers and tours of the new building located at 6708 Pine Street.

According to a press release, the new building is named after Carl and Joyce Mammel for their philanthropic gift, the largest UNO has ever received. The $41.5 million fund-raising project includes $34 million for construction, furnishings and technology. The remaining $7.5 million will be directed to an endowment to enhance CBA programs and to benefit students and faculty.
