Titled “Influencers: How trends & creativity become contagious,” the documentary focuses on New York creatives (advertising, design, fashion and entertainment) who are shaping today’s pop culture.

Whether you’re a part of a tech startup or a creative agency, this 14-minute documentary is time well spent. It may introduce you to new concepts, show you a side of the market you hadn’t seen before, or possibly motivate you to one day be an “influencer” yourself.

Also to note, this short film is self-described as a “webdoc.” According to the film’s Vimeo page: “‘Influencers’ belongs to the new generation of short films, webdocs, which combine the documentary style and the online experience.”

The film was written and directed by Paul Rojanathara and Davis Johnson. Learn more about the film at influencersfilm.com.
