What we’re looking for

A detail-oriented front-end web developer with a healthy respect for design. Ideal skills include fluency in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and jQuery. You must have an excitement for making pixel-perfect translations of visual/UI design into living, breathing websites and online experiences. Creative thinking a plus requirement. (As for design skills, imagine that at various points you’ll be given a set of three consistent elements and you’ll be asked to design on your own what the fourth element in the set would look like.)

Delinea Design – Part-Time Web Developer (Omaha)

Delinea Design is a multimedia creative studio located in Omaha, Neb. offering design solutions in print, video and web.

Delinea Design a multimedia creative studio, is in search of a part-time Web Developer, with the intent of becoming a full-time position.

We are a diverse bunch and we like individuals that are well rounded technically and creatively, that also collaborate well with others. Our projects often involve graphic design, photography, video production, animation and web development in tandem.

This position will work directly with our Web Designer to code sites, so an understanding of layout/design is not required, but would certainly be a plus. However, if you have a creative talent, let us know – in our line of work, you never know when it could come in handy.

Knowledge required includes: mobile web development, HTML, HTML5, PHP, MySQL, CSS and SEO. If you don’t know all of the coding listed, all we ask is that you are open to learn (we’d ask that anyway). An understanding of content management systems, such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc. is also required.

We are a close-knit group working together to expand our company and would like someone interested in a long-term working relationship. We take our jobs seriously; we love our clients and we like to have a good time creating cool, innovative, original work.

Impact Merchandising – Graphic Designer (Omaha)

Impact Merchandising is an custom and licensed apparel design, production and distribution company. Drastic Plastic and the record label Drastic Plastic Records are both part of the Impact family.

Impact Merchandising is looking for a Graphic Designer for apparel, print, and web collateral. The ideal candidate must be a positive, self-motivated team player who is detail-oriented and able to create quality work in a fast-paced environment and communicate well with all departments.

Required Characteristics:

  • Create quality, original designs for apparel, accessories, and print including web collateral in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborate and take creative direction.

  • Complies with art department approval process before submitting print, apparel designs and related design materials.

  • Learn new software, techniques as needed.

  • Must be capable of creating spec sheets, mock up and sized art for both print and web.

  • Proven knowledge of current trends in design, apparel and pop culture.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of graphic design and application of graphic design and typography principles

  • Apply established style guides and branding standards to internal and licensed graphic materials.

  • Assist with design and layout for all catalogs and print collateral including photo editing, layout and retouching.

  • Excellent time-management skills and maintain deadlines

  • Cooperative, enthusiastic member of a team with diverse groups, clients and personalities.

  • Work extended workdays when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 Years of related professional design and production experience preferred.

  • Strong portfolio.

  • Superior skills in Adobe Creative Suite OSX including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills:

  • Illustration ability.

  • Knowledge of apparel industry/screen printing process.

  • Working knowledge of web properties.

  • Knowledge of the history of and current trends in pop culture.

Green Bein’ Productions Inc. designs online video games. Currently, we are juggling three projects: a 3D virtual world for children ages 5 to 13 (www.kidcommand.com), a platform game creator called Synch (www.synch-it.com), and a Facebook app for Synch.  

Our team of 15 works from HQ in Lincoln, NE and remotely around the world (sometimes in boxers from our living rooms). 

We are former clock punchers who revolted. For you to fit with us, you’ll need to be brilliant (yes, brilliant), self-directed, motivated to learn new things when your skills wear thin, open to honest feedback, efficient with your time, and preferably funny.
