Following our post in July reporting that Google Transit wasn’t in the plans for Omaha’s public transit system, Metro, we published an update correcting our story and breaking the news that the service would go live in September. In an email yesterday, Metro planning assistant Evan Schweitz said that Metro has been working with Google on resolving a few remaining issues, and that Metro is hoping to resolve these issues by the end of this week.
