Barcamp Des Moines will return to the Des Moines Central Public Library on Dec. 3. The half-day unconference last year attracted 75 people, who participated in three tracks: technology, creativity and entrepreneurship. Starting the day with a blank slate, 16 topics were chosen that ranged from “Living a Creative Life” to “Seed Investing” to “Online Civility.”
Like last year, Barcamp this year will kick off with a social event the evening before and end with lunch. Tickets are $5 and available through Des Moines ticketing startup Tikly (purchase yours at tikly.co). The ticket fee includes the above as well as an event T-shirt.
The organizing team includes BrownWinick‘s Drew Larson, Craftly‘s Levi Rosol and me.
