How I Built It is a networking breakfast for entrepreneurs interested in learning about how to transform a breakthrough idea into a thriving business. The presentation will provide information from local business owners on how they started their companies and how our region can foster a more entrepreneurial culture. The seminar will also provide attendees with an Entrepreneur 101 business guide which will provide advice and resources to individuals looking to start a business in the Corridor.
Lincoln – North Loft at the Apothecary, Suite 500 (140 N. 8th St.)
Christopher Kingsley, CEO and Founder of Roundscapes, interviews the founders of Archrival, Charles Hull and Clint Runge. The unique format will be that of the Charlie Rose show — it will be as if the audience is listening in on a conversation between good friends over coffee.

Join us for a beer and to learn about proposed SOPA and PIPA bills related to liability for copyright infringement on the Internet. Gregg and Drew Larson of Brown Winnick Law will discuss how the legislation could potentially affect tech companies.
Join us for the Technology Association of Iowa’s TechBrew event, an informal gathering of entrepreneurs, technologists, business people and funders getting together to talk over a beer (social lubrication). Cocktails and networking will begin promptly at 5 pm!
Des Moines – Des Moines Central Public Library (1000 Grand Ave)
Join us December 3 at the Des Moines Central Public Library for the unconference and the evening before for an opening social. Last year’s event had a good response, so we’re sticking with the same format: presentations in three categories: creativity, technology and entrepreneurship.
Tickets are again a mere $5 and they include a t-shirt, follow up lunch, and drink ticket at the opening social.
