As we head into our fourth year covering entrepreneurs and creatives in the Silicon Prairie, we’ve set high goals to increase our content volume and value everyday. With that in mind, we’re in search of a driven college student to join our Omaha team from January to May to work alongside our managing editor (that’s me!) as a Spring Content & Projects Intern.

Responsibilities will include assisting in content production, strategy and marketing as well as working to advance company projects, such as our Silicon Prairie Map. Interns will work in a fast-paced environment – we’re at the intersection of a changing journalism world and a rapidly advancing tech industry – with opportunities to meet the companies and individuals that make up the Silicon Prairie. Though we think it would be a good fit for a journalism (news writing) or business (marketing) major, if you have an interest in blogging, entrepreneurship or the tech industry, we encourage you to apply. (Above: At our events, interns will have the chance to meet accomplished entrepreneurs, such as Cheezburger Network founder Ben Huh at Big Omaha 2011. Photo by Malone & Company.)
