The latest sponsor to support the online efforts of Silicon Prairie News is the Heartland Technology Alliance (HTA), and our whole team is excited to welcome them aboard!

HTA is working as an advocate for innovation and competition in technology and communications across much of the Silicon Prairie and throughout the Upper Midwest. Its executive director, John Stineman, is based in Des Moines and has been a participant in and supporter of Big Omaha for several years.

Here’s a short description of the organization, provided by HTA:

Heartland Technology Alliance is a grass-roots coalition working on behalf of over 11 million citizens in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota to lower communication costs, improve quality and expand consumer choices by fostering open competition and stimulating innovations in technology.

HTA is sponsoring a new SPN series called “Founder Friday,” look for more details in an introduction post tomorrow.

Thank you Heartland Technology Alliance for your support of Silicon Prairie News!
