Rachael Qualls, who’s the founder and CEO of the angel investing network Angel Capital Group (ACG), will present on June 19 at the fourth installment of Kansas City’s Technology Entrepreneur Speakers Program (Tech ESP). The event will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Country Club Plaza offices of Polsinelli Shughart (700 W. 47th St., Suite 700).

Attendees are encouraged to register beforehand. Tickets cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

Qualls originally hails from the Kansas City area, and although she and The Angel Capital Group are based in Nashville, Tenn., the ACG’s footprint includes Kansas City as well as other parts of the Midwest and Southeast. Here’s more on Qualls and the ACG from the Tech ESP’s organizers:

ACG was established in order to provide educational and support functions to communities to aid in establishing Angel investor networks. The ACG links all of these networks together through one source, creating a community of Angel investors all over the U.S. so that capital and resources can be efficiently utilized. With their proprietary technology system and the new crowdfunding legislation, ACG is revolutionizing today’s Angel Investing model.

Rachael is a serial entrepreneur who has launched and operated several profitable companies including: BugleMe – a social media company creating unique ways for Celebrities to monetize online content (BugleMe was acquired by a NYC-based VC firm in August of 2010), FastPitch – an event design firm, Qualls Properties – A property management and investment firm, and Katalyst – An ebay company specializing in the purchase and resale of high-end goods.

Presented by the Missouri Small Business and Technology Development Center, the Tech ESP is a speaker series that features six presentations by technology business leaders from across the region. More on the Tech ESP, again courtesy of its organizers:

This series … highlights the region’s most innovative technology business leaders as they discuss ideas and opportunities for the future generation of entrepreneurs. Tech ESP highlights experiences, lessons learned and unique issues and challenges faced by entrepreneurs in the creation of a new enterprise.
