The Joslyn tonight will host a celebration with close to 450 members of the Silicon Prairie community — and a dozen shiny prairie dogs. 

Almost 450 tickets to the inaugural Silicon Prairie Awards have been snapped up so far, but good seats still remain for tonight’s event. Tickets can be bought through tikly until 3 p.m. After that, a limited number of passes will be available for purchase at the door tonight.

What: A community celebration and opportunity to recognize outstanding companies and individuals for their products, leadership and contributions to the community. Forty-eight finalists are in the running for 12 awards.

Where: Omaha’s Joslyn Art Museum (2200 Dodge St.)

Schedule: Opening reception begins at 6 p.m. Awards celebration follows at 7. Closing party kicks off at 9. 

Keynote: David Cohen, founder and CEO of TechStars
