Google on Monday announced Google for Entrepreneurs, an umbrella effort of its programs and partnerships that support startups and entrepreneurs around the world. To kick off this effort, the internet giant Sunday began hosting its first annual Google for Entrepreneurs Week, 33 events across 13 countries. Among those events is a Google tools and products training session Wednesday morning in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Google for Entrepreneurs is partnering with the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce – which earned the organization a mention in Google’s Google for Entrepreneurs announcement – to host the training, which runs from 7-10 a.m.

Here’s a description of the event from Google for Entrepreneurs on Google+:

Hey there, Iowans! Please join us on September 26th for a morning of training on Google tools & products aimed at helping you grow your business. The first presentation will take place at 7:30am with a deep dive on Gmail/Google Drive, followed by a training on Google+ Hangouts at 9:00am. Googlers will also be available to answer any questions you might have regarding Google products.

To RSVP, attendees are asked to email Gerardo Interiano at ginteriano@google.com.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Google, which has a data center in the Omaha metropolitan city, serve Council Bluffs. In October, it began offering free public wifi, and in January, the Council Bluffs Community School District was one of three school districts to be part of a Chromebook 1:1 Initiative.
