“How do we take Nebraska’s startup community to the next level?” That’s the question two events this week in the Husker State will set out to answer.

From 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, our own Jeff Slobotski is holding a gathering in Omaha with representatives from the Startup America Partnership team, including COO Kathleen Warner (left). The event aims to find ways the national organization could support the work of Nebraska’s startup community.

The next morning from 9:30-noon, entrepreneur group The Big Plate is organizing a “Big Bold Vision Discussion” when the Startup America representatives visit Lincoln. The goal of the gathering is to formalize – as the title suggests – a “big, bold vision” for Nebraska’s startup communities.

For more information on the events, including venues for each, see the Omaha event on Facebook and the Lincoln event on Facebook.
