Startup Grind, an entrepreneur fireside chat series started in Mountain View, Calif. in 2010, recently announced the creation of a Kansas City chapter and the details of the group’s first event.
Described as a “community of founders, entrepreneurs, and business professionals looking to be inspired, educated and connected with the smartest startup minds,” the group is now active in more than two dozen cities across the globe.
The Kansas City chapter’s organizer, Cremalab co-founder Daniel Linhart (right), revealed the plans in November on the group’s website. “Our desire is to provide a space where individuals can share their stories (successes and failures) with other aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners for the purpose of learning and going through the ‘grind’ in good company,” Linhart wrote.
