But for Matt Fischer, the madness is a prime opportunity for SportsFormulator.com to gain credibility. He quit his job last year to launch the Columbia, Mo., startup, which provides advanced analytics—schedule strength and scoring margin are favored over record—for all the major professional and collegiate sports.
