Big Omaha is right around the corner. With our fifth annual conference on innovation on entrepreneurship three weeks away, we’re excited today to reveal four more speakers who will be joining us May 8-10.

BECOME A SPONSOR

When curating our speakers, we strive to invite individuals who are making waves in the startup world. These individuals, all with a proven track record, are on the cusp of their next big thing. These are the people you’ll get excited to say, “I saw them first.” But, not only that, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with them on a one-on-one basis making your conference experience all the more memorable and worthwhile.

If you caught Mashable’s “39 Unforgettable Moments in Tech Startup History” list last week, you may have spotted nine familiar founders and co-founders from our Big Series events. Our Big Omaha 2013 speaker lineup already has a few who top this Mashable list, including Ben Milne (No. 6), Gentry Underwood (No. 30) and new to our lineup, Cindy Gallop (No. 22). We’re excited to welcome Cindy and three more incredible individuals, Anil Dash, Dave McClure and Catherine Rohr, to our speaker slate.

Purchase your Big Omaha Ticket!

Tickets are still available but we do encourage you to buy one soon. For four years, we’ve been humbled by a ticket sell-out and packed house at KANEKO and we’re anticipating it, once again. Join us today.

Four more Big Omaha speakers

We’ll have more than a dozen speakers sharing our keynote stage May 9-10. Below are the newest individuals to join Big Omaha 2013.

Cindy Gallop, IfWeRanTheWorld, Make Love Not Porn

@cindygallop

Her work with IfWeRanTheWorld, is a culmination of taking the risk, finding a way and making it happen. This platform echos the ideas of Big Omaha and with Cindy's story, background and challenge to change mentality, her message will strongly identify with and inspire our audience.

Anil Dash, Activateinc, Thinkup

As the co-founder and director of Activateinc, he blends his knowledge and expertise to advise companies about the opportunities at the intersection of technology and media.

Dash also has ties to Big Omaha 2012 speaker Mena Trott as he is the former  chief evangelist and first employee at Six Apart. With a veteran expertise in internet and startup culture, Anil brings vantage point and new perspective from New York to Omaha.

Dave McClure, 500 Startups

With more than 20 years in Silicon Valley, we are looking forward to the wisdom he will share and we welcome him to our conference.

Catherine Rohr, Defy Ventures

Recently named one of five Ashoka: Innovators for the Public, Catherine Rohr represents a story and message of social entrepreneurship in our 2013 lineup. As the founder and CEO of Defy Ventures, she runs the NYC-based entrepreneurship program and incubator to help individuals with criminal histories make a constructive change in society. Her story is a unique spin on entrepreneurship and we are excited to learn from her experience when she joins us at Big Omaha.
