Historically, the month leading up to Easter has been the busiest time of year for the Des Moines-based staff of Facebook game Hatchlings. March 2013 proved to be no different as the game’s popularity reached an all-time high since its relaunch last year, surpassing 250,000 users.

The team of 10 worked to release new collections totaling 70 new eggs, while the game was featured on Facebook’s list of top games and apps, helping Hatchlings recruit new users. Last month month we covered what creator Brad Dwyer refers to as the company’s “month-long hackathon” before Easter, a time period this year that ended up yielding the game more than 63,000 new users.

To celebrate its “eggs-emplary month,” the company today released an infographic breaking down its March user activity and growth. (Click image to enlarge.)
