This year, as we focus on making the Big Omaha experience the most memorable and most engaging yet, we’ve gamified a bit of the conference with opportunities for our attendees to win fun and practical prizes this week.

Below are a few of the goods up for grabs during the conference festivities.

The FNBO Scavenger Hunt

Thanks to our sponsor, First National Bank (FNBO), we’re adding a Twitter scavenger hunt to the mix. During our two-and-a-half-day conference, look for clues and tweet pictures of your findings. Be one of the first attendees to correctly find each clue you could win one of our fabulous prizes.

Opening party free drink tickets

At the Big Omaha Opening Party with the Kauffman Foundation this Wednesday evening, be one of 20 Big Omaha badge holders to discover clue No. 1 and earn an extra free drink to christen the conference with extra spirit.

Small Lots – Ethiopia Kemgin coffee from Blue Bottle Coffee

As an investor in Blue Bottle Coffee, our first conference speaker Tony Conrad inspired this next prize. The first 15 Big Omaha attendees to discover clue No. 2 will receive this Small Lots Ethiopian Kemgin coffee pack as one of their conference takeaways.

Back to the Roots Mushroom Kits

After you hear Alejandro Velez and Nikhil Arora talk about their taste of success and delicious home-grown gourmet mushrooms, you’ll want to try out their kits yourself. Lucky for our Big Omaha badge holders, clue No. 3 will lead take you one step closer to owning one. Ten attendees will go home with one to grow.

AppSumo giftcards

Founder of AppSumo, the “medley burrito” of products, tips and sources for entrepreneurs, Noah Kagan will provide guidance and advice for our crowd. First National Bank will help you take that one step further, when you discover Clue No. 4. Five attendees will go home with a $25 giftcard to treat themselves to a gift or gadget on AppSumo.

$250 First National Bank Visa giftcard

The first attendee to discover clue No. 5 will take home the biggest prize of the hunt: a $250 First National Bank Visa giftcard.

Spun – Common Thread

Spun wants you to be just one introduction away from every single Big Omaha attendee. In this collaborative game, together all attendees will battle the collective degrees of separation, in the hopes that all attendees will be no more than one-degree, or connection, away from everyone in the room.

Cold Hard Cash: $100, $50, $25

Each badge holder will have a unique Spun ID, just enter your new friend’s Spun ID at spun.io on your phone each time you meet a new friend.

The person with the most threads will win cold hard cash. The generous and kind What Cheer will be issuing cash in values of $100, $50 and $25 to the first, second and third place winners, respectively.

Style Your Startup Tee

Attendees: Bring along an extra startup T-shirt. We challenge you to the ultimate test of design and fashion creativity.

One free Big Omaha 2014 ticket
