If you follow Nebraska startup news, Jim and Karen Linder should be familiar names by now. The husband-and-wife investment team has put money into 20 companies, including SkyVu Entertainment, Bulu Box, Travefy and EyeVerify. But what probably isn’t too familiar is the entrepreneurial endeavors of the couple themselves. A recent Omaha World-Herald column took a look at Karen’s story, one filled with plenty of risk, a published book, a company sale and, of course, investments. “Angel investment is a huge risk,” she told the World-Herald. “But you get to create something unique and innovative that doesn’t exist.” — Source: Omaha World-Herald
