Demo Day. Startup Weekend. Tech Crawl. Startup Olympics? Yup, you heard us right––Lincoln is getting its entrepreneurs off their keyboards and behind the steering wheels of go-karts for the Startup Olympics. The inaugural games will be one of more than a dozen events over a nine-day period in September that make up Lincoln Startup Week, a celebration of the city’s startup culture.
So what happens at the startup games? Here’s what the event website has to say:
Grab your startup teammates, family and friends for the first annual Startup Olympics Tournament. Teams will compete at Champion’s Fun Center for games, go carts, bowling and more. Have some fun and let off some steam as you compete for prizes and glory.
