Three Silicon Prairie companies entered. Only one could win Dream Big America‘s first monthly competition on its national radio show. Looky Loo Light, whose product is a flashing-light accessory for professional photographers that holds a child’s attention, squeaked out the victory with a 0.27 percent difference over the second place finisher—myEDmatch and Bawte were the other contestants. To the victor go the spoils, so Looky Loo Light will receive more than $19,000 in cash and resources from contributors across the country, including Kansas City-area companies 27 Global, Kauffman FastTrac and Karuna Media. The show streams live every Tuesday at 8:10 CST on Dream Big America’s website. Trellie, Qurate and Tutor Universe will be on next week’s program. — Source: Dream Big America
