Today we’re excited to announce the opening for an operations manager in Kansas City. Kansas City is the most recent startup community to have SPN feet on the ground and this position will work alongside KC’s staff members, but also within a team that reaches to Omaha and Des Moines.
SPN has its main office in Omaha at The Mastercraft and is home to events such as Big Omaha and Big Kansas City, which play into a daily emphasis on covering the community through news. As an SPN team member, you’ll be in the mix with high-growth startups, dedicated to covering and connecting with them in their journeys to build an idea into a full-scale business. Operations Manager – Kansas City
SPN’s operations manager will have three primary responsibilities: Executing and organizing the day-to-day operations of the organization, facilitating relationships with the company’s partners and managing deliverables for our sponsors.
We’re a lean, multi-faceted organization, so this position will be critical in delivering on the vision for our company. Some of the operations manager’s daily responsibilities include:
- Organizing and facilitating team meetings
- Executing financial processes – AP/AR/Budget/Cash Flow
- Maintaining and updating key company documents
- Leading partner relationships and delivering on key activities
- Managing sponsor inventory and event deliverables
