We may be a little late to the party, but our friends at Pack—a social media platform exclusively for dog lovers—recently announced the site was leaving private beta, becoming available to dogs and their humans everywhere. “Pack knows what you know: That dogs are family,” Megan Casey—a Big Omaha alumna and the startup’s founder—wrote on the company’s blog. “Our dogs wake us up with a wag in the morning and welcome us home at the end of a long day. They pick us up and they calm us down. In the middle of our hectic schedules and human drama, dogs remind us that life can be simple and love can be easy.” Along with its official launch, Pack added a number of new features, including “Pack Posts”—a photo storybook to help document favorite moments with your dog. The team from former Omaha-based startup What Cheer joined Pack in December, with founder John Henry Müller moving to the Bay Area in March. — Source: Pack Blog
