This semester, Creighton University students got creative when it came to the focus of their semester-long app design projects. From an app to help prevent drunk dialing to one that rates Creighton campus bathrooms, a variety of apps will be on display Thursday during the second annual Argy Bargy showcase. “Students work in pairs for the contest, called an ‘Argy-Bargy,’ which is the English term for a ‘spirited discussion,’” Cynthia Corritore, professor of business intelligence and analytics, told the Omaha World-Herald. “The course is very much a hands-on class and the contest is a culmination of everything they have learned.” Creighton students enrolled in a business application development course worked to create the Android and iOS mobile apps, which will be on display Thursday from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at a demonstration in Harper Center Auditorium. — Source: Omaha World-Herald
