SynerScan Technologies, a health care software startup, is changing its name. The Lincoln-based company will rebrand under the name Nobl, which CEO Brett Byman says reflects the startup’s mission. “A lot of people get a sour taste in their mouth when hearing the term ‘health care reform,’ because all they see is what makes headlines in the news,” Byman said. “They don’t see the effort being made to improve quality of care, promote transparency and ensure the safety of patients all over the country. We see this effort as incredibly noble, and is why we are so passionate about the industry as a whole.”

The company created software for nurses’ rounds that aims to make them more efficient and improve patient satisfaction. The NMotion accelerator alums raised $200,000 in angel investments last October and recently moved into an office space in the Haymarket. — Source: Nobl
