A new partnership between Lincoln-based athlete endorsement platform opendorse and Orlando-based social sponsorship company IZEA will expand social sponsorship campaigns across platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr and YouTube.

By joining IZEA’s Exchange ecosystem, opendorse can further monetize the social presence of its athlete clients and create a wider variety of paid sponsorship opportunities. Founded in 2006, IZEA is a pioneer of social sponsorship and builds cloud-based marketplaces that connect brands with creators who blog, tweet, pin and post on their behalf. IZEA has facilitated more than 3 million sponsored social transactions.

“Our team is incredibly excited to partner with IZEA,” Blake Lawrence, CEO of opendorse said. “Ted Murphy and the entire team continue to push the industry forward, and opendorse is proud to help IZEA tap into the power of the athlete endorsement industry. We believe understanding and activating digital influence is the future of marketing.
