SPN hosted its first Kansas City meetup of the year on Thursday night at the Sprint Accelerator.

More than 150 members of the Kansas City startup community joined the Silicon Prairie News team this past Thursday for the city’s first meetup of 2014. It’s an exciting time for the community, as this month saw the first round of Mobile Health Techstars welcomed to the Sprint Accelerator.

Held in the Sprint Accelerator’s new building, guests had the chance to tour much of the facility and see first-hand where the Techstars teams will be working over the next 10 weeks. Most of the teams were on hand, giving attendees the opportunity to visit and hear stories of their journeys.

A huge thanks to all who joined us, as well as Boulevard and Red Bull, who provided drinks and entertainment for the night. We hope to see you all again around town and at another meetup before too long.
