After five years of Big Omaha, we’ve learned that everyone loves a good party. It has a bit of a reputation for the energy and excitement around the parties and we’re excited to gather everyone to do it all again this year.

Below you’ll find a comprehensive list of what, where, when and for whom this year’s Big Omaha parties are geared.

Jump into the 2014 Big Omaha festivities with this year’s Opening Party at KANEKO.

The Opening Party with the Kauffman Foundation – May 7 at 8 p.m.

KANEKO, 2nd floor (1111 Jones Street)

This year we made a change to the Opening Party we’re all excited about—and we know you will be, too. We’ll be kicking things off where all of the Big Omaha magic happens: KANEKO. This year the Opening Party will be hosted on KANEKO’s completely remodeled second floor. Did you even know KANEKO had a second floor? Yeah, that’s what we thought.

Join us to grab your badge and get Big Omaha started right. We included some details below—get your party hat, pants and shirt ready.

It’s open to the public and free to all badge holders. For non-badge holders the party will be $5, but you can RSVP to waive the cover charge. Big thanks to Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation for sponsoring.

Located just up the street from KANEKO, Berry & Rye is a great spot to regroup after day one of Big Omaha.

The Middle Party presented by CDW – May 8 at 8 p.m. (exclusive to badge holders)

Berry & Rye (1105 Howard Street)

We had so much fun last year that we decided to bring the Middle Party back to Berry & Rye for another Thursday night celebration. Thirsty for one of Omaha’s best craft cocktails? This is the place for you.

Thanks to CDW for making the Middle Party happen.

Start off day two of Big Om-aha right with a morning yoga class at KANEKO.

Big Yogaha – May 9 at 7:30 a.m. (exclusive to badge holders)

KANEKO, 2nd Floor (1111 Jones Street)

Come and center your mind and body as you start day two of Big Omaha. Omaha’s own Stefanie Monge, founder of Welcor Enterprise Yoga, will be leading us in this relaxing and restoring yoga session.

Happy Hour by Yahoo! – May 9 at 4:30 p.m. (exclusive to badge holders)

Bemis Center for Contemporary Art (724 S. 12th Street)

Step out of KANEKO and head across the street to Bemis to grab a drink, enjoy the art inside Bemis and enjoy some entertainment on the street.

Wrap up your Big Omaha experience with all the friends you’ve made over the last few days.

The Hudl Closing Party – May 9 at 8 p.m.

House of Loom (1012 S. 10th Street)

Continue conversations, enjoy cocktails with both new and old friends and reminisce on the standout moments of Big Omaha. The party won’t stop until 2 a.m., so be ready to dance into the morning.

Invite anyone who wants a last piece of the country’s most spirited conference. Free to all Big Omaha badge holders. Non-badge holders can RSVP to skip the $5 cover charge.
