Technology Association of Iowa president Leann Jacobsen announced Friday that at the end of August she will be to stepping down to spend more time in her hometown of Spencer, Iowa. Jacobsen, who has held the position for almost nine years, is the only president TAI has ever had and has spearheaded events such as the Prometheus Awards and Women of Innovation. “It’s time for me to start a new chapter. The Association is so healthy and strong and positioned to do great work,” Jacobsen told the Des Moines Register. TAI officials say they’ll release more information about the search for her replacement next month. — Source: Des Moines Register
