“ShoeBox Cards, Happy Meals, Mickey Mouse. Kansas City has a great history of creating interesting and unique products,” Jeff Shackelford, director of Digital Sandbox KC, said in a release. “We are really excited about working with Hallmark to put the next generation of KC innovations on the map.”

A handful of companies will take place in the Showcase, including Flyover Innovations, Knoda and Little Hootz, to name a few.

The Innovation Showcase is Wednesday, June 11, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Hallmark Cards Corporate Headquarters, 2501 McGee St. The Showcase is free, but attendance is limited to 200.
