Startup Week Lincoln will have seven startup-related events that week including the regulars like 1 Million Cups and Open Coffee, but also fun activities like Startup Olympics.

Organized by the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development, NMotion’s Brian Ardinger and other local entrepreneurs, Startup Week Lincoln is in its third year.

The event was created with grassroots efforts the past two years, but this year partnered with UP Global who puts on Startup Weekends and Startup Weeks in dozens of cities across the country.

Historically, it’s been a success with hundreds of people in attendance, Ardinger said. They hope to grow it to a wider audience, too, exposing students, large business and Lincoln residents to groups like startups, gamers and makers.

“Startups and that scene are not just not about tech scene and the younger set… It’s making, building and growing,” he said.

All the events are free and open to the public, but you must register for each one online.

The schedule is not final. If you’d like to host an event, email Brian.
