OVERLAND PARK, Kan.—Boutique Window, an online marketing and social media platform founded in 2012 in Lincoln, on Monday announced it had been acquired by Retail Success out of Overland Park, Kan.

The startup’s goal has been to help merchants market themselves efficiently online through a one-stop platform of social media, email marketing and e-commerce tools. It provides a large library of ready-made content and other features that help independent retailers affordably build their online presence.

The move adds another tool to Retail Success’ stable, which also includes a provider of electronic payment technology and a point-of-sale, inventory management and e-commerce solution.

“Boutique Window aligns perfectly with the strategy of Retail Success. We want to ensure that hard working retailers have the best resources available to drive revenue, obtain business intelligence, and ultimately compete in an ever-changing industry. Our goal is straightforward offer merchants big box technology at an affordable price point. By adding the powerful Boutique Window platform, we are providing yet another tool to help independent businesses compete,” said Scott Maher, CEO of Retail Success.
