Announcing earlier this month a successful Series A fundraising of $1.8 million, DivvyHQ founders Brock Stechman and Brody Dorland related watching their company grow to watching a child grow and develop.

“I absolutely can relate the process of growing a business to the trials and tribulations of childhood. I don’t know if I could put a label on where we are exactly when it relates to childhood, but I think we’re out of the diaper stage for sure,” Dorland said.

The Kansas City, Missouri, based content collaboration platform is growing, both in space and in people.

“We’ve tried hard to focus on building a good culture, with the right people, which has enabled us to have some incredible growth and attract some of the largest brands from around the world. We plan on bringing in talented people who fit the environment we have created and will help us continue to grow,” Brody said.

Founded in 2011, DivvyHQ has attracted clients such as Lowes, Samsung and Ben & Jerry’s just to name a few. In their new expansion, the group intends to search nationwide for multiple positions, including a new Chief Technology Officer, Vice President of Sales, frontend lead developer, business analyst, UX/UI specialist and customer success manager.
