Applications for REV, TS Bank’s annual pitch competition are now open.

For the last two years, TS Bank has sponsored a pitch competition for businesses and entrepreneurs where applicants compete to win up to $25,000.

Through the program, over $50,000 has been distributed to small businesses to help ignite their business. Previous winners include FliteBrite and lienwaivers.io.

“TS Bank holds REV because it aligns with our mission to ‘Ignite Prosperity’ in the communities we serve,” said Rachel Cain from TS Bank. “We put 10% of our pre-tax income back into the communities we serve through a variety of ways, but wanted to extend that to local small businesses and startups to see how we could help. That’s how REV was established.”

A preliminary pitch event will be held prior to the pitch competition on Oct 10 and 11 at TS Bank’s newest branch in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The top five contestants will move forward and pitch on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, at The Venue at Harrah’s in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

REV’s judges will include 4 experts from a variety of areas including business management consulting and a founder from The Startup Collaborative.

Application for this year’s event are now being accepted through Oct. 1, 2017. To learn more about REV visit TS Bank’s website.
