At a glance…

Health Myne, headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, is a patient management platform designed to transform multiple clinical decision support workflows into relevant patient information. The multiple clinical decision support (CDS) workflow solutions platform provides enhanced workflow in the radiology and oncology care continuum.

HealthyMyne’s proprietary algorithms automate extraction of quantitative imaging metrics at the Point-of-Read, thereby reducing reader variability, and making evidence-based metrics available at the Point-of-Care.

“Imaging data offers a tool that’s been significantly underleveraged for care and disease management,” said John Kuelper, Investment Director at Ascension Ventures, in a press release. “Only a fraction of the available structural information is actually captured in the radiology report and made available to care teams. A rapidly growing pool of radiomics research has the potential to add this quantitative data to better predict disease progression and therapy response, but technical and workflow challenges have prevented community providers from implementing this technology in clinical care. The HealthMyne platform offers a technical infrastructure capable of consistently capturing data at scale and a CDS Point-of-Care application suite that makes this information actionable for specialists, care managers, and researchers.”

Subramanian added, “Ascension Ventures’ investment is great validation that community health systems are looking for ways to get more clinical yield out of their imaging and CDS investments and partnerships.”
