Bloomington, MN startup Dispatch closed a $7.22 million Series A venture deal with Great North Labs, Hyde Park Angels, Revolution, and other undisclosed investors on December 19, 2018.

Trinity Private Equity Group also participated in the round. The investment will help the company expand its market reach and build out the team.

Dispatch is a provider of a courier platform designed to deliver online orders using a designated pickup and delivery location. Features include time tracking and push notifications intended to provide customers with real-time tracking and accurate estimated arrival times.

The technology is designed to help businesses and users predict and plan deliveries. Users simply tap on the mobile app to create an order using preferred pickup and delivery locations.

Company co-founders are Andrew Leone and Ryan Hanson. The genesis for Dispatch came about when Leone identified an opportunity to improve labor efficiencies in the distribution industry by getting parts to job sites predictably and efficiently. Hanson heads up the company’s team-building and business development. The business partners continue to iterate and adapt the technology to better serve the needs of the company’s customers.
