Capital Markets Gateway (“CMG”), founded in 2015, has closed a $7.5 million funding deal led by StagedotO.
Shea Ventures, Franklin Templeton Investments and Greg Ingram also participated in the March 14 Series A venture funding round. The company plans to use the funding to build an integrated capital markets platform.
The company offers an integrated digital workflow management and analytics solution for capital markets professionals throughout the trading lifecycle – from banks to asset managers to investors and underwriters. The platform facilitates capital markets processes and transactions by providing access to real-time data, analytics, and communications features.
Company co-founders are Greg Ingram, Mike Wilcox, and Stamo Hadjiyski. The company has offices in Chicago, New York, and Seattle.
“We are passionate about fostering more open and collaborative capital markets, and we’re growing our talented team by hiring the best and brightest minds who share our vision for a more productive financial ecosystem,” said Ingram in a press release. “This investment will enable us to scale our technology and accelerate new product initiatives to bring improved communication and connectivity to even more financial practitioners.”
