Proof-of-concept program Digital Sandbox KC announced on Monday the names of four new companies that have been added to their portfolio.

Earlier this month, Digital Sandbox KC announced that they had been awarded $950,000 in grants from The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and the Missouri Technology Corporation.

Digital Sandbox KC moves early-stage entrepreneurs from concept to commercialization, and is a collaboration among private, public, university/research and philanthropic organizations.

“From helping students prepare for college to analyzing voting records to predict legislative outcomes, the startups in the Sandbox are a great example of the diversity and creativity of this region’s entrepreneurs,” said Jeff Shackelford, director of Digital Sandbox KC.
