BarCamp Omaha coming…

So I had the opportunity to join a meeting last night around the organization of Omaha’s first BarCamp. So I had the opportunity to join a meeting last night around the organization of Omaha’s first BarCamp.

Before you get the wrong ideas, a BarCamp is defined as:

BarCamp is an international network of user generated conferences — open, participatory workshop-events, whose content is provided by participants — often focusing on early-stage web applications, and related open source technologies, social protocols, and open data formats.

All that to say there’s going to be some really exciting things coming out of Omaha over the next few months!

The event is set to take place the second week in August at Frost Acres
