It’s Foursquare Day, and to celebrate we’ve announced a few more speakers to the Big Omaha roster!

Anyone up for a game of Foursquare while wearing a pair of shoes from Zappos while dining on a delicious meal found on Foodspotting while reviewing data from SimpleGeo?

Look for more details early next week, but take a look at who we are thrilled to be bringing into Omaha for the event.

Tony Hsieh – Zappos

Tony Hsieh is the author of Delivering Happiness and the CEO of Zappos. After selling LinkExchange to Microsoft for $265 million dollars in 1999, he joined Zappos as an advisor and investor, eventually becoming CEO, where he helped Zappos grow significantly while simultaneously making Fortune magazine’s annual Best Companies to Work For list.

 

 

 

 

Dennis Crowley – Foursquare 

Dennis Crowley is the co-founder of foursquare, a service that mixes social, locative and gaming elemetns to encourage people to explore the cities in which they live. Previously, Dennis founded Dodgeball.com, one of the first mobile social services in the US, which was aquired by Google in 2005.

 

 

 

 

Matt Galligan – SimpleGeo 

Matt Galligan is the CEO and co-founder of SimpleGeo, a company providing ready-to-use location infrastructure for app developers. He previously founded Socialthing, a startup that was chosen to be part of the inaugural year of TechStars. Socialthing.com went into private beta in March 2008 and it was acquired five months later by AOL.

 

 

 

 

Alexa Andrzejewski – Foodspotting

Alexa Andrzejewski is the founder of Foodspoting, a visual local guide that lets you find dishes instead of just restauraunts, powered by people who take pictures of their food. Since launching in Jaunary 2010, the Foodspotting iPhone app has attracted over 85,000 downloads and 35,000 food sightings, and has been mentioned on TechCrunch, The New York Times and CNN Blogs. Previously, Alexa was a user experience designer for Adaptive Path.
