The first gathering of Omaha Creative Week (September 5-11) takes place tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at KANEKO. Join Silicon Prairie News and KANEKO as we co-host the Caretakers Forum, an exploration of creativity and a discussion on Omaha’s creative talent and activity.

There is no cost to attend the event. From 6-7 p.m., see KANEKO’s newest installation, a selection of Fletcher Benton‘s Folded Square Alphabets and Numericals series, as well as their permanent gallery. Complimentary wine and light fare will be served.

The panel will begin promptly at 7 p.m. with a short introduction from myself (I’ll be serving as the night’s moderator) and then jumping right into the question: “Why Omaha Creative Week?”

Read about the panelists sitting on tonight’s Caretakers Forum in our post: Caretakers Forum will ask the question: What is creative?

See Creative Week’s full schedule in our post: Omaha Creative Week: The Schedule (20+ events)

Hope to see you at KANEKO tonight!
