Micah Baldwin at Big Omaha 2011 – Friday, May 13, 2011

Today, we’re pleased to share with the you the tenth video in our Big Omaha 2011 Video Series, brought to you by CoSentry.

The video features a great friend and true supporter of Big Omaha and the Silicon Prairie community, Micah Baldwin. Micah is the CEO and chief community caretaker of Graphic.ly, a startup providing an immersive social experience and marketplace around digital comics and associated merchandise. Previously, when he spoke at the first Big Omaha in 2009, he was with Lijit Networks, his sixth startup. Micah has helped author several books on internet and search marketing, and started the #followfriday meme on Twitter, which has become part of the fabric of the social web.

In his talk, Micah shared a deep, personal story that he’s never told, a story about his personal “hockey stick,” a time of his life where he went from being “somebody” to who he really is and stands for today.

To read a live blog of Micah’s talk, see our post:

“Big Omaha 2011: Day 2 live blog (morning edition)”

Take just a few minutes and let Micah know how much you enjoyed him sharing such an inspiring and moving story with our community. The thing I enjoy most about Micah is his honesty and genuiness towards each person he meets – he truly listens, while at the same time challenges you to be a better version of yourself. You can reach Micah on Twitter, @micah.
