Today’s the day to begin submitting your business ideas to the Dream Big Des Moines contest for a chance to win up to $15,000.
Dream Big Des Moines is the central Iowa portion of a statewide contest “Dream Big Grow Here” being put on by MyEntre.Net, a program of the University of Northern Iowa. If you live in Polk or surrounding counties (or even Marshall and Poweshiek), it’s your turn to submit a pitch idea via video at MyEntre.Net’s website. Pitches will be collected through August 15, and voting begins the next day. Dream Big Des Moines is being facilitated by Mike Colwell at the Business Innovation Zone.

Whoever collects the most votes for their pitch will win $5,000. Additionally, that pitch will move on to the next round, competing against other regional pitch winners from across the state for a grand prize of $10,000.
