Entrepreneurs interested in becoming a part of entrepreneurial organization Pipeline have their annual opportunity to be selected. Applications for the 2015 class of fellows opened Thursday and will be open through Oct. 20.
The program is increasingly competitive and only typically accepts between 10-13 entrepreneurs each year. Started in 2006, Pipeline now has more than 80 members and an expanding slate of programming and support. In June, the Kauffman Foundation announced it will provide another three-year challenge grant of up to $1.435 million to further those same goals.
“Applying to Pipeline is the best decision I made next to starting my own company,” 2014 Pipeline Innovator of the Year Paul Jarrett, founder of BuluBox, said in a release. “It takes a village to raise a startup and without Pipeline as part of our village, I don’t know where we’d be.”
The first round of applicant interviews will be held Nov. 12-13, with final interviews Dec. 3-4. According to the Pipeline website, the 2015 class of fellows will be notified in December, and the entrepreneurs will be revealed to the public during Pipeline’s Innovator of the Year event.
