Big Omaha features speakers from across the globe who bring a wide variety of experiences and knowledge to the Silicon Prairie. As Big Omaha announces their speakers, we’ll be featuring them on SPN so you can get to know them and find out how they’re helping to shape the startup ecosystem prior to the conference on May 17-19.

Next up for Big Omaha’s 2017 speaker announcements are foodies Vanessa Torrivilla and Joe Ariel, founders of the online artisan food ecommerce company Goldbely, Y-Combinator graduates and food explorers.

Headquartered in San Francisco, Goldbely’s mission is to find the best local artisanal culinary companies and give them an national audience. Goldbely has quickly become the premier ecommerce site for regional food and has connected curious eaters with America’s best gourmet food purveyors for four years.

Just yesterday they announced that they’ve raised $10 million in Series A funding.

With such tag lines as “I have not told half of what I ate” and “The feasting will continue until morale improves”, Joe and Vanessa are natural fits for Big Omaha 2017.
